I practice the craft of hand-carving spoons in my Melbourne workshop, bringing my Mexican heritage into contemporary Australian making.

Each spoon emerges through careful attention to the wood's natural grain and character. These functional pieces celebrate the satisfaction of making something useful and beautiful by hand, objects that feel good to hold and use in daily life.

My workshop is a place where this traditional craft continues to be shared. Through teaching and making together, the knowledge of spoon carving passes from one maker to another, creating connections between people who appreciate the value of handmade objects.

Every spoon reflects both my skill and the wood's individual qualities, resulting in pieces that are uniquely their own while honoring an enduring tradition of functional craft.
